Protect During Exercise
Whether you are riding your bike, taking a jog, or going on a hike, it is best to remove your hearing aids and store them in a cool and dry container while you exercise. At the very least, dry them off once you get home. Exercising promotes hearing health and overall health, but the aim of summer hearing aid care is to keep the devices as cool and dry as possible.
Protect from Water
Besides keeping sweat and moisture off your hearing aids, remember to take them off before showering, swimming, or any water-related activity. Even if you are not intending to dunk your head in the water, wading in the ocean, kayaking, or paddleboarding could be risky for your aids.
Avoid Direct Sunlight
